The car is the most inefficient luxury machine we've ever made. What are we doing to change it? Are we creating better train systems? Are we creating better public transportation? Are we living closer to where we work and where we eat and where we buy things?
No one's perfect. But what are you doing today to make changes to do the smart thing?
My wife and I are working on selling our house and living a more minimalist mobile lifestyle where we can be close to the things that we do every day, thereby limiting our use of our cars.
I hope to accomplish this by the summer and live within a few minutes walking distance to my work and every other thing my family does.
I encourage you to pick one thing you can change to increase your efficiency and reduce your dependence on big energy.
