As many of you know, Selah and I have been trying to get the family into a school bus for about three years now. The process has been slow and tedious. We had awesome plans and ideas and a great community has surrounded us in the process.
Just one problem. Our bus turned out to be more than we bargained for. It has a leak issue that just won't work for living in.
But, we decided this winter to put our house on the market anyways, in a sort of leap of faith. We also decided that we would use the proceeds from our house to buy an Airstream that sleeps 6. I t makes sense as well because we already have the perfect vehicle to pull it. Phat Betty. As a new friend of mine said "Not all your A's have to be that hard. An easy A is still an A!" Thanks, Karen.
Two weeks ago the fish started biting. Then we had a buyer and went into contract last week. They want to move in on the 11th. 10 days to close. Tomorrow is the 7th. Wow.
So within two weeks I need to find an Airstream that will work for our family, so we have a place to live during the summer. Who knows, maybe on our way to see Tedeschi Trucks at Red Rocks we will see the perfect one. The way this is going, that is exactly how it will go down.
2015 is the year. Things I have been trying to do for 5 years are all happening at once. My business Redbrain is taking off like a rocket ship, our house is selling, we are getting a fantastic trailer for travel and life has never been better.
The future is so bright. Where are my shades?
