I did it. I forgot to write yesterday. I was busy. I put in an offer on a house, went to work, got my brain scrambled trying to do new things, and then it was time to host a dear friends surprise birthday party at which I proceeded to drink entirely too much.
We all do it. Fail at perfectly achieving our desired goals. The question becomes do we become defeated and give up, or do we resume the fight?
My gut tells me that most of us give in to a very strange psychological phenomenon that says, “If it can't be perfect, I don't want to do it at all.” Then the ball is not only dropped, it is left on the ground as we leave the field.
The better choice is to stay on the field, pick up the ball and get back in the game.
